TIGNE JUDO CLUB

The biggest Maltese competition is back, this year promising quite a number of foreign players from several countries. The battle will commence on the 8 th March at St Aloysious.

Once again the MJA have put forward the list of players who have been invited to take part in the National Team Pool training sessions. Congratulations to Reuben, Vito, Chris, Terence and Tiziana, who along with myself have been invited to train with the National Team.

What a way of relaunching the team! First the successful performance from all our athletes in the Interclub Training Camp, then the launch of the website and the t-shirts, and now this!!

Our very own Chris Zarb has offered to direct and film an advert for the club, which will hopefully end up on television some time soon! With the collaboration of our head coach Raymond Fava and a few others, Chris will record this advertisment this Saturday 24th November!

May I remind all club members who will be present on Saturday to bring their full kits and brush teir teeth in the morning !!

When the filming is done, the advertisment will be uploaded on this site so I welcome any surfer to come back within a week and check out our homepage!

The team has been back for quite some time, and finally there's a kit to match! The new 'Team' t-shirt has just arrived!! Almost identical to the regular white Tigne T-Shirt, with the logo in front, and Tigne Judo Club resting proudly on the athletes back, however there's one key difference!

Yes you've guessed it! The colour!!! Rather than white, the proud athletes ofthe Competitive Team will be sporting  highlighter yellow t-shirts from now on, making sure that they stand out in the crowd!

These t-shirts will first be seen in competition next month, when the MJA will be organising their annual Nationals Tournament!

Good luck to all! After a successful launch of the team, we are all hoping to build on what we started!
